I have a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the school of Behavior and Brain Sciences. I have a Masters of Science in Counseling with a concentration in children and adolescents from Southern Methodist University.
I completed my clinical internship at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, a nonprofit organization that provides mental health services to children and families who have experienced criminal child abuse or witnessed a violent crime. Here, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults providing play therapy, activity therapy, and traditional talk therapy. I have worked with a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, and behavioral issues such as aggression, impulsivity, and difficulty with self-regulation. No matter what presenting concerns your child has, it would be a privilege for me to support them in their growth.
I consider myself truly honored to work in this profession. Children are such a gift to this world, and I love to be able to help them grow into their most authentic selves. If given the opportunity, I would love to help yourself or your child on a journey through healing.
